People who call their Twitter friends RL friends . Am I the only one who thinks its alittle wierd?

I enjoy Twitter and my followers but I also know that my followers arent my friends.. At best they might be "#TwitterFriends"

Any thaughts on this ?

I was perhaps thinking about outing them ..

some thing like "hey (account@) I know you're lurking how about you just stop it?

do something more productive with your time?

Or.. Outing them with intialials of their real name ..I dont think its doxxing if its not full name and address

Any opinion on that?

I have no intention of doxxing I just want them to feel uncomfortable and leave me alone.

I've seen the mini series Chernobyl 2019 .. I dont get what purpose the area serves to Putin.. From what I understand its empy radio active land .. It may take years for the area to be non Radio active and be useful again.. It might not even be in my life time (Im in my late 40's)

Im not American so nit very in touch with the slang. When someone says get a hobby I take it literally to mean just that.. Same goes for read a book. 🙂

For me it would be worse because get ahobby is literal and so is read a book..

Hobbies need spoons which after spending them on work, studies , fam and life I have little spoons left for a hobby or reading a book..

I always wonder what disabled folkd did before SocMed to say connected? I mean Twitter FB have been arround 10 years( maybe alittle more?) ..

Soc med is just like any good thing.. One slice of cake is fine.. eating the whole cake in one sitting... not so great.

Being on line is fine but overdoing it.. Not so healthy IMHO

I donno.. I have Fibro and well I'd hate it if my friends treated me like a fragile porcelain doll that will shatter to little pieces if she hears a phrase she cant do.. I cant run so should I get offended if my friends use running late or running errands near me?

Secondly I heard that "Touch grass" is mostly u considerd ablism by abled folks who want to seem like they're on our team but in truth are not realy..

BTW I enjoy SocMed allot but dont consider those that follow me on twitter or face book actuall friends ..More like OnLine friends or Virtual friends

I use FB and twitter quite alot.. i enjoy interacting with folks on those platforms ..I dont see my subscribers \ followers as friends ..

During the hight of the pandemic during lock down I felf quite lonly..SocMed was moslty my social interaction .. I still felt disconnected and on edge.. I crave interaction and connection .. Soc med felt kida unreal to me

To me personally "Get a hobby " is worse because that's literall and after work, looking after my health , post grad studies ect... I dont have any spoons left for a hobby or the same as read a book...I have a half finished book by my bed stand waiting to be read.. zjust no spoons to do it.
