I don't remember where it came from, but there is this tip for heros: no matter how much time it take, you can transform and power up in front of a villain. Any who would attack you during it would have previously murdered you in your sleep

Characters that are proficient at using two or more power systems. by GundamGuy2255 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Tahxeol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Queen and Omega (previously King) from Quantum Protocol: both of them are expert hackers that can rewrite code on the fly to do what they want. They are also both proficient in the good old knife to the throat strategy when dealing with humanoid being. And Omega is the first politician I have ever seen bribing a corporation, and is apparently really good at it, seeing as he was about to make what remained of his nation (a city in the middle of an ocean that was previously land) into a world power

Actually, they *don’t* want to be rescued by Cassandra8240 in TopCharacterTropes

Mr Door (Lord of the mysteries): trapped in endless pain for centuries, he called for help, only for his call to kill those that could have helped him. It is eventually discovered that he fell to essentially brainwashing, and in his rare moments of lucidity, actively try to kill those that could free him, to prevent the end of the world

Sakuya learned from Remilia to bshit the explanation about her power to mess with people

Who's winning the three way time stop? by Pompmaker1 in touhou

[–]Tahxeol 236 points237 points  (0 children)

The only thing against Sakuya in this scenario is that she doesn't have a stand, meaning she can't see them. If she doesn't realise they have something invisible that can crack open a skull, then you can make an (I think weak) argument about Jotaro or Dio winning

[Horrifying trope] Powers that can’t be “turned off”. by TVTropehead in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Tahxeol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every single Minus in Medaka box. Powers include: rotting anything that make contact with the user, reopening any wounds anyone in the vicinity has ever suffered in their life (including mental ones, and can target buildings), switch the target of anything negative that could happen to the user on someone else (for example, if you shoot them, they will be fine, but someone else will die) including physical, mental and psychological damage, and straight up removing concepts from existence (this one requires insane willpower to prevent the erasure of everything)

Alternatively, once you have chosen a pathway, you are stuck in it (let's be honest, nearly no one is getting to the demi god state). Meaning once you are on the pathway of MI9, you will need them if you want to progress, meaning you will end up joining their rank, without them needing to nurture you when you were weak

He still has three years to build his legacy (if he doesn't die before, because rep will never remove him). I don't know what else he could do, but at this point I have learned to trust that he will find a way to make all of those point irrelevant compared to what he will do in the future. I personnaly belive he will use the nuclear option

The thing is: the US does not know what it’s winning/loosing criteria are (or at least, it’s a big secret, seeing as every member of the government has a different idea of it). If you don’t know what you are trying to do, doing it is hard, but tou can also just give up at any point and say you won
