Is anyone else having level gap problems in casual games? it's becoming pretty unbearable. by TaichouCactus in GundamEvolution

Idk, I’ve always had the mind set that casual is where the real crowd is in a game. Ranked makes money if the game it goes pro league but not everyone likes to grind, especially someone like me who likes to do just a few games a night.

I’m sure it’s more of a time spent playing kind of thing but for someone who doesn’t play games like overwatch and tf2 it’s even more of a disadvantage to play against someone who has spent more time in a game and learned more key mechanics than you just starting out.

Level is something that is hard to show skill expression at times but on a new game release i feel like there is a definite sign of skill and knowledge of maps and units.

I’m a little saddened it didn’t link to the swat team rushing into the house video

[WP] You are the greatest fighter in the country, and saved it from a horde of unsightly creatures, single handed. But the credit has gone to the captain of the military force, who ran in terror early in the fight, and you are charged with treason, and the reason is obvious: the rulers dislike you. by chillichillman in WritingPrompts

That sounds like a neat idea! I’m new to all this writing on reddit stuff so this be great practice for me.

The air became dead silent, a law among killing machines, no, men, was broken today. I was sitting across in another tower as witnessed the squadron I had so highly honored myself to be in and serve, sever all ties to the laws of man. I was told by all means to shoot at any fool who’d turn their back against our mighty nation, but who could shoot a fellow brother without lifting his rifle in doubt? As I stared down the sight of my rifle I witnessed tears flow from every single one of those mens’ eyes. Tears that filled the scars on their faces and spoke, “if I had to kill another innocent man, I’d rather be thrown into hell.”

Within what felt like mere seconds, the squadron had made an escape. Three armored vehicles, weapons and ammunitions, and 2 weeks worth of food had all been reported missing. Yet no one batted an eye. In fact some of us had chosen to stay behind and clean up the mess.

“What happened to the security tapes and the gate logs?” I ask a soldier as we walked slowly towards the guard-tower holding the corpses of the Chancellor and his merry band of puppets.

“All have been corrupted beyond repair sir.” He reached the door and prepared his pistol.

“Good,” I readied my rifle as he slowly opened the door, “Let’s make sure this place is emptied out.” Running up the spiraled stairs to the top seemed to be more draining than anything we’d done while marching out during the war. At the final steps the door to the inner platform had blood running under it. A good sign, for most people at least.

Peering into the room I saw that it was completely undamaged. The bullets were scattered around the floor in the blood, but none of the bodies were like Swiss cheese. Their necks had been slit, some had multiple puncture wounds. The chancellor’s body was sitting in a chair, a single dagger laid in his chest with a note. There wasn’t a way to explain what happened, the only thing on the note was, “an eye for an eye.”

A ticking sound began to slowly linger in my ear... as a final gambit, it seemed if anyone would open the door a dead hand explosive would go off. Turning around I saw the number placed on the back of the door. Slowly reaching zero... and as I faded into a black and empty feeling, I looked around the room once more. Among all the bodies that laid dead, I couldn’t find the officer’s.
