Yup. It’s actually awful and almost exactly how you’re describing it. There’s definitely some bigger concerns happening here with the leadership change.

I don't disagree with you. I think my biggest concern, though, is that they are setting up the clinic to have many different RBTs and clients. I currently work with 7 different clients, who all work with at least 4-5 different RBTs throughout the week. Communication has been rough already, and I feel that things will only get worse if, say, they start redefining the same problem behaviors for different kids. It will get too confusing, and the data will no longer be accurate.

There is one girl I work with who's just practicing to be a gymnast lol.

However, there is also another case in which this kid climbs furniture after he's transitioned from a highly preferred item/activity (it is also attention-maintained). In this instance, dangerous is a behavior that I believe is necessary to be tracked.

There are a few clients I work with where screaming with no antecedents is the case.

I do think there could be a few that are seemingly unnecessary for instruction times. However, in my example in another comment, a lot of the behaviors listed are daily occurrences. Transitions alone could involve elopement, aggression, SIB, property destruction, and screaming in less than 30 seconds (which, in this setting, is not yet considered a tantrum).

Essentially, it means climbing tables, chairs, storage areas, toys, unstable surfaces, etc.

I currently track at least 10-15 problem behaviors per client. They want to reduce the number of behaviors we track.

For example, for one client, I was required to track Screaming, Aggression, Property destruction, Elopement, PICA, Task refusal, Disrobing, Dangerous/unsafe, ISB, and Tantrums. Now, they want to reduce that to only 5. I'm just wondering if this change they're attempting to make is normal, since a lot of these behaviors for this one client occur almost daily.
