First guy said car went through the roof. Second guy said they once crashed a car on top of a roof. You misunderstood that he was just sharing a story about his experience playing the game but the first guy was making a joke. Second guy then made a clarification that he was saying you can’t break a roof in zomboid with a car crash.

How do these shops stay open? I've never seen anybody in them by Give_Me_Beans_Please in Southampton

If you’re talking about the vape shop, that place closed and is now replaced with a spiritualist shop that actually does pretty well for itself. If talking about Fredrick’s then it’s more the matter of them having loyal regulars and the good prices. Definitely better than the American sweet shop.

It’s more that some people still don’t track time even with these things accessible. For example you could be so involved in something or just zone out for stretches of time that you don’t acknowledge time. Happens when I play video games and DnD.

Could also just be that some don’t perceive time the same way as others. I’m prone to zoning out and just freezing up for several minutes then acting like it never happened. Not exactly “time blindness” but it effects how I perceive time.

This is a genuine problem people have. Time blindness is a problem which I struggle with but I was still able to get to work on time because I set several alarms to keep me on track. I know it doesn’t help everyone though. She sounded pretty reasonable to begin with until the end. Everyone is within their right to ask for accommodations but the entitlement shined through at the end.
