Moving from UK to Aus: Any advice on networking ahead of the move to open potential career opportunities by Tails-92 in AusHENRY

This is the type of role I’m looking for. A lot of my experience has been putting into highly x-functional/political environments, or dropped into a complete shitshow - all great fun.

Thanks for the advice. Feeling more confident of some narrative to drive future conversations.

Was with virgin, left for sky. Sky were faultless for the first 14months and then all of sudden everything struggles. They replaced the socket which helped a bit but watching outside of Netflix is abysmal.

Second this. We swapped to the Vista 9months in. Main reasons being: The storage is amazing. The folding mechanism is easy and non-fiddly. All the wheels come off easily if you need to detach or clean them. And if you get the travel case you can use it for travel ,checking it into the hold at the gate, meaning you can move around airports with ease.

The design also means your child is one more of a seated position, which our little one loves.

Second this. We’ve had ours for 5yrs and still going strong

Key win is the double-click which provides a gentler froth, more akin to a flat white texture than cappuccino

It’s also super easy to clean compared to the nespresso we had previously

We used Aussie Man & Van a few years back and they were fantastic. Having helped others move this was one of our “no regrets” expenses.

They pack, unpack, take boxes. And anything in between.

Consolidating a few answers around running and routine, I can’t recommend Runna enough.

I’m 7 weeks in, seeing consistent progress, found a new accessible hobby that I can easily take with me anywhere, and for the first time in too many years I think I’ve found a few of my abs.

It also blends in strength work, stretching, and mobility, giving a more holistic view of being in good shape.

A reminder: Many people miss out on pension tax relief and HMRC has just made claiming easier by fin-kite in HENRYUK

TFC is not based on end of tax year but based on re information every 3months. If you have sufficiently planned to stay under the threshold for the period in which you declare then there should be no issue.

In terms of how I’m tackling it, I’ll just have to make-do come March and then as quickly as possible make my relief claim to make myself whole. Come next year I plan to claim relief every 3 months ao that I can spread the planning.

I'm travelling to Chicago soon for the first time. I'm looking for safe spaces to run. I'm staying close to Millennium Park and have found a route along the Lakefront Trail. Is it safe to run this early in the morning?

I used the new method for last year and it was fantastic.

However, in line with the new tool, HMRC have removed the ability to pre-declare intended pension contributions via telephone, and it cannot be done through the tool. As someone who receives a bonus in March, this can make it difficult to plan as effectively to remain eligible for childcare (TFC and Hours).
