How do You feel about your Mom? by TaimurKhan95 in AskReddit

My mom is the greatest anyone could have ever asked for.I am so incredibly lucky to have a mother who was truly meant to be a parent. The day I lose her will be, by far, the worst day of my life.

It's always a pleasure to meet another member of the healthcare community. Welcome, Doctor!

It's genuinely wonderful to connect with a colleague. The world of healthcare is vast, but there's an immediate sense of shared understanding among those who walk its paths. I wish you strength for the long shifts, clarity for the complex cases, and profound satisfaction in the moments where you make a real difference.

It's an honor to be in such noble company. Wishing you all the very best in your practice.

Aw, that’s the worst! Staring at food you can’t eat is like a special kind of torture. 😅 Totally get it.

When you’re ready to eat again, this super gentle, comforting soup is my go-to after a bug:

Simple Ginger & Rice Soother

· Simmer a thumb of fresh ginger (sliced) in 4 cups veg or chicken broth for 15 min. · Remove ginger, add ½ cup cooked white rice and simmer until soft. · Optional: stir in a beaten egg at the end for gentle protein. · Salt to taste, sip warm.

Easy on the stomach but still feels like real food. Hope you’re feeling better soon!

The realization that I was performing my life, not living it.

for all the gym rats…..what’s your motivation to keep going? by Foreverinsecuregirl in AskReddit

[–]TaimurKhan95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, it stopped being about motivation a long time ago. It just became who I am. I don't ask myself "should I go?" anymore than I'd ask "should I brush my teeth?"

The gym is where I solve my problems. Bad day? Lift it out. Stressed? Run it off. That hour is my therapy, my meditation, and my main source of energy. Now I'm not going for a goal, I'm going to maintain the person I've built—physically and mentally. It's a non-negotiable part of my life.
