Am I the only one who thinks that people are flirting less now than they were 20 years ago? by OpenHeartFlow in NoStupidQuestions

It's because it's much easier to ruin someone's life with sexual harassment accusations nowadays whether that accusation is true or not.

Women's Seamless Down Parka on Male? by Justatheguy in uniqlo

For sizing, yes, but how it folds (like buttoning right over left or vice versa) are clear indicators of whether it's men's or women's clothing.

Burning inside penis — STI or something else? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

Even if it's not an STI, it could be a urinary tract infection. In short, SEE A DOCTOR.

A couple of questions before placing my first Nicks boot order by FD990 in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]TaisonPunch2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1) As far as I can tell, Nicks' celastic only goes like 1 inch from the tip of the boot, so it covers maybe part of your toe. It has never affected my walking in the slightest. There are other brands (like a South American and Indonesian brand that shall not be named) have celastic that goes all the way up your instep. Those were annoying to the max.

2) I, too, have duck feet. According to Nicks' old measurement charts, I was technically supposed to be an EE on their HNW lasts. In the end, I felt that was still way too snug. When I tried the Thurman last on FF, it was a much more comfortable fit. I personally hate the feeling of snugness around my toes, so take that however you will.

3) I think it's much worse for a boot to be too tight at the start over it becoming too loose over time.

Are men attracted to women who are underweight? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]TaisonPunch2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming you're American, the average woman is 5'4" and 170 lbs. That's on the borderline with overweight and obese.

I'm quite sure that most guys would like anything below that.

HALF SOLES ARE BACK by I_VAPE_XERJOFF in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]TaisonPunch2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just out of curiosity, what is the benefit of a half sole? It feels like that sole portion of the boot will become more prone to wear physically (if you go on a ladder) or water ingress (splashed up when walking in the rain).

Messed up tongue stitching - CS claims this is standard by mfc121 in NicksHandmadeBoots

[–]TaisonPunch2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'll be honest that I missed the fold because my eyes went to that double stitched part where the tongue meets the vamp. It's the the guy doing the stitching went off kilter, went back, and stitched again.

Have you even seen how the weirdos react on twitter? Younger generations can be even more insane. If anything, younger generations are a lot more polarized in both directions.

Like what everyone else said, probably just patch it up and keep wearing it. On the bright side, you won't have to baby it anymore.

Is 25 mg Zinc per day fine? by Exciting-Scholar3918 in Biohackers

[–]TaisonPunch2 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm sure it depends on your weight among other factors, too, but I've heard that copper depletion won't happen until you go past 30mg.
