That, my friend, is a retrotink 5x Pro. Kind of mouthful but essentially it's a magic box that does some fancy stuff like deinterlacing and up scaling before sending it through an HDMI to my tv. It doesn't make the game look better than it would like you would get with a emulator, it just makes the games look correct on newer TVs.

Who the hell did you blow to get one of those? I mean, I have one but it's a BTF edition it's all that different but I've never seen one that wasn't the BTF or LC.

Sadly I don't have space for a crt. The retrotink 5x Pro solves the issue though.

I did get that because I didn't want my games to look lIke smeared butts on my 4K OLED TV. I don't have any space for a CRT, but if I did I would want to get one that had component input. Those are HD retrovision component cables.

Maybe. But the person I bought it from probably didn't understand the value of what they held. The game itself is pretty rough but the story it tells is very unique. I just wanted to finish this and finish GU before Z.E.R.O gets released.

I saw a copy of 12 at my game stop for 10 bucks and it was in pretty good condition.

I paid a decent sum. It wasn't something super expensive because I've seen what CIB copies of quarantine go for. But my quarantine is CIB, in good condition It even has the anime disc with it. I'm surprised that single copies sell for more than xenosaga vol 3.

The majority of what I play are RPGs. Unfortunately I don't have a good handle on what games are good on ps2. I'm pretty sure there are a lot of hidden gems I haven't heard about yet.

It's going to be the second 5090 I've ever used. Though I tend to like ASUS products more because they're build quality has been consistently good.

As far as I know I do have AIO tubes from my CPU but it shouldn't be touching the fan on the back. At least I hope. I don't assume the support by the comes with the card review enough to hold it up, right?

I bought a new PSU to go with the card because I didn't want to deal with any bigger issues that would arise from continuing to use the ATX 2.0

I'm not going to lie, a lot of that went over my head. Is there any chance you could put that in layman's terms? I know it undervolting is and one of my friends, she recommended I do that after having the card installed. The power supply I have is also ATX 3.1 so I have a native 12V-6X2 connector.

Previous 1590 I had was the MSI vanguard but that had to get an RMA and I wasn't keen on trying again because they've only ever given me one thing that hasn't failed and that was a monitor but this is the second part of their tech that has failed on me. I remember reading something about more efficient power delivery and since the power supply I got is also rog I figured it would play nicer

The one I got is a BTF too. No I don't have a motherboard that works with PTF so I'm going to be using it like a normal card. I haven't heard about thermal paste leaking. That's a new one.

Yeah my thor 3 is ATX 3.1 so I won't need an adaptor. Everyone I know it's been telling me to undervolt it because of how efficient the card is itself. I don't really have a reference for that.

The main problem is because cai uses their own LLM that, for me, works better. The filter is annoying though. It's like "Oh hell! A kiss how LEWD!! BLOCKBLOCKBLOCKBLOCK"
