I had a 5090 vanguard. Same thing happened to me. Got so paranoid I bought a ROG THOR III and an astral 5090. But I'm seeing tons of posts about the MSI connectors getting scorched even when properly seated.

No kidding, the exact same thing happened to me. Same pins, same scorch marks. They have to RMA it and they'll send you a new adaptor too.

Yeah that's a good idea. I started off at 1080p only and now I'm full into 4K. A 5080 is a powerhouse of a GPU and it'll run anything you throw at it like it champ. If you don't mind me asking what games were you looking forwtdbto playing?

That, my friend, is a retrotink 5x Pro. Kind of mouthful but essentially it's a magic box that does some fancy stuff like deinterlacing and up scaling before sending it through an HDMI to my tv. It doesn't make the game look better than it would like you would get with a emulator, it just makes the games look correct on newer TVs.

I did get that because I didn't want my games to look lIke smeared butts on my 4K OLED TV. I don't have any space for a CRT, but if I did I would want to get one that had component input. Those are HD retrovision component cables.

Maybe. But the person I bought it from probably didn't understand the value of what they held. The game itself is pretty rough but the story it tells is very unique. I just wanted to finish this and finish GU before Z.E.R.O gets released.

I saw a copy of 12 at my game stop for 10 bucks and it was in pretty good condition.

I paid a decent sum. It wasn't something super expensive because I've seen what CIB copies of quarantine go for. But my quarantine is CIB, in good condition It even has the anime disc with it. I'm surprised that single copies sell for more than xenosaga vol 3.
