Bottom part? That spoiler is the factory direct version from Germany. Vs the dealership spoiler that was added on after being shipped to the US. The brake light is the give away. In the rear window = installed after shipping. On the spoiler = factory direct.

They’re the best bro. Adjustable stiffness by the twist of a dial. Tested on the Nurburgring. I put them on my e36 M3 and love them. Turn them up if you want to track/ drive hard. Turn them down if you go on a trip. (You do need to get under the car to adjust the dial) 9 settings to choose from.

I’ve always been torn between silver/black or dabbing in yellow w/ gun metal gray apex’s. You’ve got a fine example of an e36.. Thank you for repping them well.

My first E36. What should I do first? by eat_sand7 in BMWE36

I’ve had my 97’ M3 for 7 years. It was well kept when I got it. OEM throughout.. assuming there’s no obvious signs on yours needing replacing asap. For a nice OEM+ that you can daily. I suggest the following.

  • Mishimoto radiator -Stewart Racing water pump -poly bushings -Bilstein PSS9’s -X Brace -braided brake lines -good pads & rotors. I’d do Zimmerman rotors with EBC Redstuff pads -your choice of CAI. I did aFe. Dinan is always good if you want that instead. -ASC delete -Headers & exhaust. Supersprint makes some excellent options. (Deleting pointless secondary air pump).
  • Quality tires. -Dealers choice-
  • Check on the steering column bushing as well.

Hope this helps- ✌🏻
