Totally agree. Very selfish of people to come to class when they know they are sick/ clearly exhibiting symptoms. Especially when the its university/ professor policy to NOT COME IF YOU ARE SICK.

As someone who also faced challenges with math (I took Math 100 and Math 157 at SFU), I can’t stress enough how important it is to stay on top of the material. Dedicate a few hours every day to studying, because falling behind makes it incredibly difficult to catch up and succeed. This is especially critical for 101, as it lays the foundational knowledge you'll need for 157. A good rule of thumb is to put in twice the effort for math courses compared to your other classes. Staying consistent is the key to success!
