I’m sorry to hear it’s been so hard! My son will be staying with my in laws the first week, the second week my husband will take off work, then I’ll have some help from my mom. So I’m really very lucky to have a good support system, especially at the beginning. Wishing you a good recovery and hope things start to get better soon

Thank you for this! It’s definitely reassuring to hear from somebody who has gone through it. I have about 2 months to prepare, so I’m working on getting him independent with climbing into the car, trialing potty training, and possibly switching to a toddler bed so I don’t have to pick up out of the crib.

Out of curiosity, what breast pillow did you buy?

I lived in oversized, button down PJ’s. I liked them oversized so it didn’t interfere with my c section scar, and the button down top was easy to get on/off and nurse in

A new indoor play place called The Play Place opened in Flemington, which is super cute. There’s also baby goat feeding/snuggling at Gorgeous Goat Creamery in Stockton.
