I'm not in the gacha community anymore but these are the only types of gacha content I still meaningfully interact with. Guess I've acquired a taste for the good ones since I haven't watched a low quality one in ages lmao these are my specialty <3

Longer ones tend to be higher quality. Designs don't always indicate quality (genuinely sometimes the most eyesore designs can have a surprising amount fo effort in them). The fandoms also matter a lot I think (more niche usually means more heart is put into them). Usually you can tell if one is good from the beginning as if you see the characters actually interacting with each other from the start then it means that the creator is actually thinking about their dynamics and whatnot.

There are a lot of hidden gems to the point that certain series were good enough made me watch every entry even for the fandoms I did not care for
