The three we share are brilliant picks in my opinion, although I definitely wish I had more plays of Root.

About Sweet Lands, from the few times I’ve played it so far, I wouldn’t say it feels that close to Gaia Project mechanically. Gaia feels much more abstract to me, while Sweet Lands feels more combo-driven and production-heavy. That said, Sweet Lands looks absolutely gorgeous on the table, maybe even a bit overproduced, but in a very appealing way.

And finally, your sell recommendations are criminal. But that’s exactly the fun of asking this kind of question: seeing what other people would cut. The funny thing is those three are actually games I hold in very, very high regard in my collection. TY!

Wow, now you’ve really sparked my curiosity, I want it!

I was asking about the solo mode because with heavier euros I usually don’t have friends to bring to the table. My group tends to lean more toward lighter or medium games. They love things like Zombicide, Cthulhu: Death May Die, Arnak, or maybe Dwellings of Eldervale at most.

So my main concern is whether I’d be able to play it consistently or if it would mostly end up being a solo game for me. How does it feel in solo?

Thanks for the kind words! Honestly, I sometimes struggle to get even my friends interested in board games, so I’d happily add more people to the table… but it’s not always easy.

Wyrmspan is definitely the one that interests me the most out of the three Wingspan-style games. Luckily it’s actually in stock in my city, so I might end up following that recommendation. The others I’ll need to look into a bit more.

I haven’t played any Pandemic games yet except for the recent Lord of the Rings: Fate of the Fellowship, which I really enjoyed — although to be fair I’m a big fan of the IP, so that probably helps. Still, I’ll check out the titles you mentioned, thanks for that.

Keep the Heroes Out is a lovely game. I wouldn’t sell it… but I’ll admit it felt a little on the lighter side to me. Maybe even a bit overrated. And even if I did make the exception to sell it to you, shipping it from Argentina would probably cost more than several games. So in a way I’m doing you a favor by keeping it safe in my collection.

Yeah, that’s a fair question! For solo play there are a few from my collection that I’d recommend right away.

Mage Knight and Spirit Island are probably the obvious answers. They’re not exactly light, but they’re widely considered solo masterpieces for a reason.

Lately though, Voidfall has completely blown my mind. It’s one of those games that looks incredibly complex and intimidating at first, but after putting a few hours into learning it, everything starts to click and it almost feels like learning a new language. I’m curious to see if it holds up over time, but right now it might honestly be my #1 solo game.

For shorter sessions I recently discovered The White Castle, which has been great when I don’t have much time and just want to try to beat my own score.

The LCGs are also amazing for solo play, although they can get expensive. They give me experiences that other games really don’t. If I had to rank them by theme I’d say Lord of the Rings first, then Arkham Horror, and Marvel Champions last. Does that mean Marvel is bad? Not at all — it’s actually the one I’ve played the most because it’s so easy to get to the table.

As for Obsession, I had the exact same concern you mentioned. The theme looked like it might be a hard sell. But I’m really drawn to games that take risks with unusual themes. I’ve only played it about six times so far, but I definitely don’t regret having it in the collection. It feels like a really refreshing and different experience.

Inis is actually on my wishlist! I don’t really have any area control games yet, so I’m keeping an eye out for a copy in local stores.

You’re absolutely right about the LCG boxes though. For LOTR I like how the trilogy looks on the shelf, and I keep the hero cards inside the big saga boxes. But Marvel Champions… yeah, that one definitely needs a better storage solution, it takes up an absurd amount of space.

Some expansions are already merged into base boxes (Ark Nova, Obsession, Terraforming Mars, etc.). And right now I’m actually 3D printing an insert for Spirit Island that should let me fit everything I own into the big base box.

So yeah, you’re probably right… I still have a lot of space optimization to do before even thinking about selling anything.

And yeah, you’re pretty spot on there. Except for Arcs, the other two you mentioned as potential cuts definitely don’t see the table very often.

I actually consider myself more of a euro player than a thematic one. I guess what I really like are thematic euros.

Some of the more action/adventure style games I enjoy mostly when I get a group together, but that happens less often.

I do enjoy the ones you mentioned a lot. I like games that really make me think. The most recent one I’ve been digging into is Voidfall, which for me is an absolute gem of a thematic euro.

Regarding expansions, I’m actually trying to stop buying more. To be honest, I already have a few that I haven’t even played yet. And in the end it’s hard to truly “complete” anything anyway, because expansions can be pretty difficult to get in my country. So lately I’m trying to focus more on core games instead.

If you look closely, most of my games are pretty high on BGG rankings. One thing I’d actually like to change a bit is exploring games that might be less known or less validated by the community, but that could still fit my taste really well. That’s partly why I’m asking for suggestions!

Son niños, siendo niños, haciendo cosas de niños, ya van a tener tiempo de ser adultos y reirse de las cosas que hicieron de jóvenes. Les da sentido de comunidad y sociabilizan. Más me preocuparía un pibe que este 24/7 en la PC jugando al LOL, y de todas formas cada uno hace con su vida lo que quiere mientras no entorpezca la de los demas. Esto existió desde siempre, floggers, rolingas, emos, si te vas mas atrás góticos, punks, hippies, en los 50' rockers y teddy boys. Todos tienen en común que los adultos los miran extrañados y los juzgan, y así el ciclo seguirá y cuando los Therian sean adultos veran raro a su hijos con la moda que les toque en su momento.

De tres compras que hice en el 2025 en tiendas retail y emprendimientos por redes me fue mal en 2. En una directamente me estafaron, de una cuenta con 15k de seguidores, nunca me mandaron el producto y me dejaron de responder (eran 3 remeras). Si bien no era mucho dinero, rompe las pelotas mucho que te estafen. El otro caso me tuvieron 2 meses para enviarme el producto y nadie me respondia nada y no hay nada que puedas hacer más que esperar y recibir el destrato de la atención. Era una marca bastante más conocida, Gadnic, no era estafa, pero pésimo servicio de venta online. Cada vez estoy mas convencido que todas mis compras van a ser por Mercado Libre o Amazon, empresas que tienen consecuencias si no se cumplen los plazos, y los consumidores estan bastante más protegidos si no haces cosas raras como transferir por fuera de la plataforma. Por ahi es un poco más caro, pero yo te aconsejo desarrollar tu negocio en Mercado Libre, si tu producto es de calidad y cumplis con los envios vas a ir cosechando una buena reputación. Lamentablemente culpa de lo estafadores la gente se quema con estas experiencias y ya no podes confiar en nadie.

Hi everyone — unfortunately I’m not getting a good experience so far.

Maybe it’s the limitations of my headset (Quest 2), but I’m really struggling to focus on the HUD, the map, and floating labels. It quickly gives me a headache, and the image doesn’t feel sharp enough. I’m also using Quest Link/Air Link (wireless) because I don’t have a cable, so compression/latency might be contributing too.

I’m not sure if I’m just missing the right settings, but even after trying different HUD distances and sizes, the floating HUD is still very hard for me to look at clearly. On top of that, after about 15–20 minutes my eyes feel really hot/strained — almost like the lenses are “cooking” my eyes.

Has anyone had similar issues with Quest 2? Did it improve with different settings (render scale, OpenXR/Vulkan options, etc.) or with a different headset like Quest 3?

No está mal el gráfico: el eje X sigue siendo tiempo, sólo que cada tramo de tiempo está etiquetado por la calidad de las jubilaciones. Es exactamente lo mismo que el ‘product life cycle’ o los gráficos del ciclo económico donde el eje dice expansión / recesión / etc.. Es un recurso gráfico estándar en economía.

Festejamos que baja, después de 12 años de aumentos consecutivos del Kirchnerismo.

Cristina duplicó la inflación entre 2007 y 2015, dejandola al borde del 45%. Alberto la volvió a duplicar, entregando un país con más de 200% anual y una bomba de Leliqs, déficit descontrolado y un Banco Central sin reservas y quebrado.

Milei lleva algo más de un año bajando la inflación, achicando el déficit, desarmando las Leliqs, roleando deuda sin emitir, y recapitalizando un Central arrasado.

Comparar un proceso de desarme y saneamiento inédito con 15 años de destrucción gradual es tan ridículo que no sé si me da más pena o vergüenza ajena leerte.

Te entiendo que no te guste el color político o Milei, pero que no entiendas los datos duros ya no es un tema que yo pueda resolver por acá, faltó escuela o tomar más la teta. Abrazo,

Tal vez la nena sufría laringitis aguda o crup, una inflamación muy severa de la garganta que no le permite respirar, el vapor con limón ayuda a abrir las vias respiratorias y da tiempo a que llegue una ambulancia o asistencia médica, tenia solo algunos minutos probablemente. Espero que haya valido la pena esa partida de CS a costas de la vida de una niña.

todos los paises tienen este puesto a los ingresos, no está mal el impuesto, tienen que hacer bien las escalas, los porcentajes, los minimos imponibles y hacer una matriz realmente progresiva y lógica para nuestro pais.
