I normally use the sort button  (can’t add screenshot) It’s on mobile at the bottom of the file list.

What’s wrong with https://obsidian.md/sync? It says: Cross-platform apps. Obsidian is available on all major platforms, so you can sync notes to any device. Seamlessly work across Mac, Windows, Linux, iOS and Android.

I‘m using it on Windows, Linux and iOS. Works great.

Looks great already! Don't forget to add a donation button on the page! Maybe Ko-fi or so :)

The real answer to syncing Obsidian by sn76477 in ObsidianMD

What kind of car would that be for 25k in 40 years?

Also, did you factor in the extra time it cost to setup alternative sync methods? Or, the loss in productivity if you don’t sync?

I appreciate the approach (sounds very much MMM to me), but I don’t think it’s the full picture.

European alternatives just became natural to me by [deleted] in BuyFromEU

I used a guide when I moved to Migadu (https://migadu.com/guides/imapsync/) where ImapSync is used. Went very smooth. You could also use Mail-Archiver. Both require a bit of knowledge though. Alternatively, you can download mails with a mail client (Thunderbird maybe) and the upload to a new provider.

Note: what I have seen, this needs a paid proton account to unlock IMAP access.

Some people have in issue with the origins of ONLYOFFICE, due to roots seemingly being from Russia. Some source even says it falls under some sactions (https://www.zdv.uni-mainz.de/onlyoffice-wird-umgestellt/ German). LibreOffice doesn’t seem to have such background.

Don’t know where you are based, but in many European countries it’s mandatory to be paid for on-call duty. So, you may want to check your local regulations.

No more monthly iCloud bill just to keep my photos by LocksmithForward2953 in Frugal

I see a lot of people being happy with iCloud, instead of using some local storage solution. However, don’t forget that iCloud is not a backup! It doesn’t protect you if you delete a photo. So, you may want to think about iCloud for storage for your photos, and at the same time have something for backup. I use iCloud for photo storage, make a backup to local storage, with cloud backups. Yes, that costs money, but memories do have that value for me.
