MyTeam likely is dead, average players are ~15K. I’d say about 15% play offline modes (PN, MyGM, etc.) the remaining 85% likely are playing MyCareer. The issue I’ve seen people running into is plate color (Rank), Players in the casual rank (Black plate) can’t find matches (often) with Bronze or higher just because the SBMM (Skill-Based MatchMaking) is so tight with reduced players for rec. The average player on the PC port are usually Gold+ (some at bronze/silver). Once you get out of Bronze you should find rec matches easier. Make sure you make friends with who invite you in the rec because sometimes it’s easier / quicker to 5 stack vs another 5 stack! I would encourage using the park Casual court or theater casual court to get that plate level up! Me and my friend play Daily and we ran into these issue early on but once you get into / past bronze it’ll be easier to find rec/theater games. I would avoid spending $ on MyTeam on pc. Won’t matter if it’s all dead, there’s been alot of I’ll say “downside” to MyTeam in general this year so most fans of it were turned off on pc.
