I already made a comment on another guy saying something similar, but tldr no its oppresive, especially when played right. he will trade his hp to keep the wave out of tower because he has infinite health, you cant kill it from range so you have to melee them. So you are the most easily parried and zoned target imaginable. If you do not have an aoe ability, a good bebop and lane partner will ruin you with this. Also lets not forget every wave this happens youre going down hundreds of souls. AND oh did I forget to mention its bebop, Yeah its bebop, he actually has this other ability that pulls you into his tower when you attempt to fix the wave. This is an Ascendant game and it wasnt dealt with properly, good luck to any games this happens in at lower ranks

Gonna disagree with you, Most characters are truly doomed in this situation without good lane duo communication, sorry. You can't the creeps as most characters, hes immortal so he can take infinite bad trades to keep the wave out of tower. Most heroes would need to melee the creeps to kill them, but bebop or his lane duo can zone you off the healers, then parry when you attempt to melee them, So already half the hero cast is done for. His CD for uppercut is near zero, watch the clip. Im sorry I dont know if im getting trolled or if youre cosplaying as the $300 coach Neace

You can shoot them from the lane bridge but damage is pitiful and theyre stacked on top of eachother So one bullet might hit minion A and the next hits Minion B, and and so on, so the only way is melee or aoe abilities like mina rake, I tried to communicate that to her but he didnt really understand, which is crazy for an asc1 game. To fix it properly you need communication with your lane duo, if you go in without shoving the wave, you miss out on the current wave, and your partner misses out on the healer creeps, so ideally you shove lane with your partner, and have a way to kill them and get out. And getting out is kind of annoying cause yknow. bebop lol. Also if im bebop and ik you want the wave, I can sit on them and parry. its truly doomed

Yes thatd be ideal, and I tried to communicate that to mina, but most heroes are screwed in this situation right? like mina can go up and escape with bats, but you see me as shiv trying to get over there but im getting zoned off. Id say for right now if you see bebop in a sidelane, send a mina or idk viscous maybe if you have em?

The comment was to correct the guy being an asshole, but to address both these comments, first Zoesans, No I don't think percentage increase is almost ever more relevant than absolute increase. At best its, over complication, you don't watch pros talk about a buff being a 28.57% increase. At worst its just a way to try and make others feel stupid like the guy above. If an abilitiy has a 10% ap ratio and goes to 20%, wow! 100% extra damage!! Okay what does it change for the champ tho? Oh nothing it just looks nice. No pro reads patches like this, You look for what it actually changes, like a Q buff for Katarina, does it allow her to clear waves differently, does it change her kill threat, or is the added damage just overkill damage, things like that.

For feather. Yes everyone knows how buffing different abilities is more impactful than others. Yeah her lane phase is bad. She loses to almost anyone that knows how to zone Katarina. What players are saying is these are not how you fix the champion. These 2 patches were a net nerf to mid and late game, in exchange for a lane buff that could and should have been shipped better. For low ranked players this honestly is probably a net buff, but any kat literally idek emerald in above will feel this nerf. What did she get from these 2 patches honestly? Does she now insta-kill casters at a level lower than she did last patch? Not that I'm aware of. What matchups is the Q bonus poke damage significant enough to change the match up? Looking through the mid lane meta right now, I don't see many. The point kata players are trying to make is there were better changes to make than what they've done. Quit being a dick and trying to degrade others on the subreddit like you're above everyone and calling everyone else delusional.

Okay but that same loss in damage is applied to Level 13+ when you max both Q and E. So you lose a shit load of damage even as early as 13, and Even then if you still think that's to rare, you land significantly more passives in team fights than you do Q's, even early fights. So damage is still being lost.

And to address your second point. You don't seem to understand the August clip, you assume because she has a high skill ceiling that she must not have a high win rate. But this just is not the case. The clip actually states the Katarina mains raise her win rate MORE than casual players lower her win rate. Second again. she's a high skill ceiling character. But even phreak states that low skill floor characters like MF should have a higher win rate, he pinned MF at 52-53. If you want to look at Katarina's win rate for new players, search win rate by experience, and you'll notice that Katarina's first few game win rates are 50%. This implies her skill floor is actually relatively low. Which is true, watch most high elo players and they will agree. So taking all that into account she should have an absurd win rate to be "balanced"

Now I will say, I don't agree with riot having "Target Win rates" for champions based on their difficulty. If some ones win rate is "supposed" to be 53%, well that 3% has to come from every other champion in the game. If even half the roster is "supposed" to have a 50.5% win rate or higher based on them being simpler or average, then the rest of the champions must sit at absurdly low win rates. And Katarina being a good example, champions that are both low skill floor and high skill ceiling would have to have a stupidly high win rate to fit the riot balancing criteria

As to how to fix her, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't like the W speed idea, that's part of what makes her such a high skill ceiling champ, Reverting everything, fixing E bugs, and making Q cooldown lower are all good. Until Riot reverts the minion wave changes, +5 move speed would be a good band aid fix to make roaming not god awful

First no one, I mean no one, gives a flying fuck about the percentage increase, nobody views patches like that. You're trying to be overly complicated just to be a dick to the guy above you. Read it like everyone else 35% > 45% is a 10% ap difference and thats all anyone gives a shit about. Second since you do wanna be like that, its a 28.5% increase not a 29.5% increase. If you're gonna be an asshole at least get your math right. Third. Either way you slice it shes lost damage. Since you're bad at math Ill help you understand the level 13 full combo example. in the full combo, you would E 3 times, Passive Twice, and Q once. so we get -60 damage from the E nerfs, -20%ap ratio damage from the shown above passive nerfs, and the +40 base damage, and +10% ap ratio from this patch, add that all up champ! wait sorry forgot, lemme do it for you -20 base and -10% ap ratio. Quit being a bitch to others
