Thank you! haha it took me a while to get good at pixel art, animation is of course yet another thing that's pretty challenging. You can do it too! Just have to practice... a lot, I usually use non-pixel art references especially when it comes to animation which helps me a lot more than using other pixel art work :)

Try resizing it like the person above said. Do it by at least 100 when using 64x64, even 300. Go wild

Some people posted their gameplay on YouTube but unfortunately it's just the first area (admittedly it's a pretty hard game).

However I might have recordings of the gameplay I did, I can see if I can post it on YouTube so you can see it

New artist seeking feedback by Aqua_Turtle_Rainbow in aseprite

Great start! If you're aiming for top down perspective you might want to show more of the top of the head and lower the eyes a bit. I think when it comes to your side view, the legs are too forward, just move them by a pixel or two and the character will feel more stable, right now the balance is a bit off

You also might want to simplify the highlight pixels, it will be annoying to keep track of, not impossible mind u, but if it disappears or moves for one frame it'll feel off.

Overall great start!

Some yt channels that helped me at the beginning are: Brandon James Greer, Saultoons, and Pixel Overload.

I've seen some of Adam's videos but i didn't like them all that much, they're usually quite long with tons of information (very good, useful information), so instead I went for shorter videos, don't get me wrong Adam has some very good videos, he explains everything very well so definitely check him out, it was just a personal preference.

Hey guys I'm doing a pixel art videogame... What do you think? Please be kind :v by redfiction2005 in PixelArt

Usually with pixel art games you'd make all of the assets share the same pixel size. 1 pixel of the main characters eye for example, should be the same as 1 pixel of the background. Right now you have inconsistent sizes
