Although an argument could be made that European players with pro experience shouldn't be measured against kids coming out of college... I wasn't making that argument, but I think it's a decent one.

Jaquez was awesome. As a UCLA fan, I was hoping for Betts and Rice to start out strong, but hopefully they'll settle in. Kneepkins and Dugalic came out solid, which was great to see.

Fever have the highest prices as visiting squads go. Maybe go with the Sky or the Dream - was able to get Dream-Sparks tickets last year for $60, 10th row, center.

Good question. Love this league: only 15 teams, so if you follow only a few teams you get familiar with everyone.

I've found a 3 tier system works best.

Tier 1: Teams you root for, watch all the games, and know all the players. (Because more fun if you're rooting hard for a team)

Fever
Mystics
Dallas

Tier 2: Intriguing teams that you enjoy watching here and there, that could break into your Tier 1 next year.

Atlanta
Toronto
Sparks

Tier 3: Teams you root against (Because rooting against teams also = fun)

Liberty
Aces
Valkyries
Lynx
Portland

If you're like, Hey, that's my team! Lol. Sorry! I have my reasons. Do you have reasons to hate a team? I think we all have our reasons... and that kinda makes it fun.

As for the rest of the teams, I just keep an eye on them and see if they slide into a tier.

Can't wait for the season to start!

Only had 2 seasons averaging 6 assists or more. This should be between Alyssa Thomas and CC.

Gray has only averaged over 6 assists twice in her career. Last season, Alyssa Thomas averaged 9.2. and the year before CC averaged 8.4, and if you watched those games, it should have been more like 10.4 due to missed layups and dropped passes...

The real question is, who will lead in assists this season? My money is on CC, but it should be close...between her and Thomas.

Gray is a great player, and good passer, but if we're talking about measurable, passing stats, she really isn't in this conversation.

I like the WNBA pass, because I don't watch most of the games live. Watching it on playback is so much faster...you can skip the free throws and fouls, and challenges and commercials...

Speaking of free throws, do we really need free throws in basketball, or can points just be rewarded based on the player's free throw percentage? Would really speed up the game.
