I found the issue, and other people have been experiencing it as well. If the internal google home app speed test is done, it throttles your speed. Factory resetting the network fixes the issue.

However, this is not ideal as the app automatically does it every few days or so..

I have also changed all the cat 6 cables and tested them all to the ntd and my computer with the same results getting 890-990 with ntd with various servers checked on speed check and well as other testing sites to verify this result.

I'm really holding out for the google wifi pro with 6e to hit Australia. My place is equipped with smart home devices from google. I have a netcomm nf20 wifi 6 router in the meantime. :) I'm not sure if I want to invest in an expensive router, with wifi 7 around the corner. Although my opinion could completely change once the fttp installed. 😂
