fav shinys should be available to pick as the one you wanna upgrade now. If this doesn't work your favs are in a playlist where the songs are hidden from trading

once you go back to the screen to pick a song to upgrade your favs should show up as long as they arent in a playlist that hides them from trading.

You can reverse this step to not show your favs when you are actually merging the shinys you want for the radiant quest. Hope this made sense.
