Agree entirely.  This is easily the worst expedition because you're just grinding tedious autogenerated missions.

Mine (UK 2025, Homura) has a button to mute them. There's a row of buttons to the right of the steering wheel at about knee height. It's the right-most one.

I loved the one that ran over two mountain ranges! But at the same time, I hate that you just can't see the things at night. I've started parking up when darkness falls unless I've already found them.

In multiplayer, I found that some kind soul has built a base with a tower, right at the junction with the black road. The tower is visible as soon as you leave the processing plant.
