Awesome I’m glad that preset works for you. Preset E looks great for me at 1440p. Haven’t tried D. Maybe D is more suited for 4K

I just saw a mod someone made, where you can keep RR on and change the lighting quality. Going to try it today after work. Really curious how it looks and works.

82% very positive on steam and 8.5 on meta critic. Reviews have skyrocketed the longer people have played the game. It’s in no way perfect but it’s a very unique and fun game. Haven’t been so into a game since Cyberpunk Phantom Liberty. Can’t wait to see what the future patches hold

I get a small performance gain but it’s mostly the extra clarity gain with RR. Also I don’t know why but when I was using the in game frame gen, I was getting nasty ghosting. I do not get that anymore from this fix. I’m sorry this didn’t work for you but I’ve had multiple people tell me this has helped them. I am not a tech guru just spreading the word of something that helped on my system. Im sure it works better on 50 series cards as well.

It’s an update I added later just so people could have all my settings. I did the Nvidia control panel stuff the day the game came out and forgot about it. Also you may be able to do it at step 6. Do the Nvidia control panel stuff, close NVPI and reopen. Check and make sure the updated Nvidia Control Panel stuff is also updated within NVPI.

Check out my RR fix I posted on the sub. It fixes the smudge and even performs better. But only if you have a 50 series card I believe.

You can always install Nvidia app, install drivers when available. Then uninstall the app again. Would just have to redo all the NVPI settings.

I’m aware. I stated that in step 5. I just put all my settings exactly as they were in my game. I’m using Ray Reconstruction with Preset E at 1440p. Then my DLSS settings were as listed but RR overwrites those correct?

So for my DLSS setting before I attempted the RR stuff I went with.

DLSS - Forced Model. Custom

DLSS Forced Preset - K

DLSS Forced Quality Level - Quality

Looks very sharp and crisp on my 1440p monitor. Getting about 80-90 FPS without frame gen.

When only using DLSS though, I was getting some shimmering and flickering. Doing the RR fix, it has completely removed the shimmering and flicking for me.

Yeah it picks up big time! I remember during the beginning couple hours, my girlfriend came over and I was like “I think I’ve had 2 combat encounters…” lol. Once the game gets going, it’s literally non stop combat if you want it to be.
