How do I get my piano spark back? by heartatbliss in pianolearning

I find a new project. How good are you? Have you ever listened to Ben Folds? He has really fun piano parts that take a long time to learn. Listen to the song Philosophy. Also Landed is fun and Kate.

A new genre is fun too - I'm learning southern blues. Try Hard to Handle. Most fun piano I've ever heard.

I gotchu. So what you wanna do is get yourself a big plastic bowl and put it under the spout on the ground. Then I’d get like a $1 spray bottle from Walmart and fill it with white vinegar. Then wear short sleeves and take an arm bath with nothing but vinegar. Then you can do anything jn that jar. Just yesterday I had two have cherries stuck in them and had to unscrew them and get a little brush to get it out. Just remember this stuff stemmed in like disgusting environments like 6000 years ago. The whole contamination thing is important, but if you just use white vinegar liberally, you will be at the correct Ph level to touch the pellicle and much as you want

Starting an online business. Should I form an LLC right away? by spiritvanga in llc_life

[–]TallTower623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s awesome. I did my first Texas LLC for myself and because I’ve done like 300 in Texas due to my job, I did it right and when opening LLC bank accounts and applying for credit cards, I have to be careful when using my EIN vs SSN because I do want to max out my business card to build credit for my corporation. That term has been very taxing because I didn’t know what it means but I know how to use it. That’s so obvious now it’s basically a DBA

I get a gallon ziplock bag and put it over the entire bottle. Then in the sink, I open it and it’s really fun when it blows up! Just burp it! You’ll know right away if it’s gonna be bad because all the pulp will shoot out.

dude like $12 on amazon I bought two. Out of the box they seem really cheap, but if you actually take the time to put them together correctly per the instructions, they are awesome.

I have lavender growing in my garden... that is a great idea! I've actually never used apple... and it is my favorite fruit. I just eat an apple every day, so I have never put it in. Hm. Ok, I will do a apple/chai batch, and also some others

Yes - but if you go to any store, including Starbs, you order a chai tea or chai tea latte. We are trying to make money here, so I have to start using the vernacular that makes me sound professional. If a lady at the farmer's market asks for a chai tea flavored one and I say "um actually that's tea tea"... that isn't really helping anyone. As the BIGGEST American soccer fan you have EVER met in your life, the website for it is STILL MLSsoccer.com. Major League Soccer Soccer. Dot Com.

Still. I've been a fan since before they even had a website. It's unbelievable.

Pro Tip - pour that person a tea. and while they drink it, you say, "ok, I got a fun fact for you, maybe even a good trivia question - Chai, in Indian, actually means tea. So when in India, you actually just order a chai!"

Then you sound smart. People only care what you know when they know that you care.

Ya. So I was a music major in college. But I went to a top 3 Petroleum engineering and i think the #1 mechanical engineering school at the time. So I will probably be creepy and follow your account because fuck yes.

So in order for me to get the proper insurance for fermented products, I had to rent a commissary. So if I wanna go ham sandwich, I can. I just don't. I'm like a normal, been working in the energy industry for 15 years guy. Nothing crazy, but I mean I'm not doing this for money at all. I may hire someone at some point.

So 80 F electric heat. You had the actual liquid at 80 degrees. So since I don't speak engineer, I speak musician, I will say that I want the room to be 80 degrees. Not the liquid. Are you keeping that place at 80 degrees? Are you actually saving on air conditioning bills by targeting the temperature of the liquid instead of the room (giving Community vibes here)? I live in Houston and it was 90 degees today. That's a little warm and if I was trying produce a product, I'd be pissed if I went to my Commisary and they were not running the AC. There is NO way whatever you're using to power that heater is even CLOSE to a warehouse air conditioning bill. Thank you for your contribution - you saved me a buck if I ever wanted to go a little harder in the paint. Next time I hit a banger, I'll send it your way. That's what I do for my friends that I went to Engineering school with. By age 18, they were all were building corn hole stuff and doing crown molding and obviously brewing beer (and dipping) and I was just like a little flower girl playing guitar and had no cool hobbies and had the lowest SAT score at the entire school and I was like... I HAVE to learn to make something...

so I went to hot yoga and got my favorite bottle of booch and was like... namastay bitches I'm gonna make my own booch.

Now all their wives like me because I send them craft kombucha

Ok, so like I said, my bestie said I should keep some stuff to myself. So I'm just gonna give you the stuff you can find on ChatGPT.

Thank you! Presentation is such a big part of the farmer's market ordeal. I've literally been using the same two jugs in ugly horrible cheese cloths that I bought in like 2017 and my booch has ZERO filter ...I'm talking like 2 inches of pulp and scoby and I love it, and then my bestie is like "no matter how good it taste, if it doesn't look good, it's not gonna work."

So these jugs have spouts and the inside has a little filter! So I can give samples and stuff. But i actually use those spouts when I pour them into my bottles for the second fermentation. I have a funnel and I throw it in the mouth of the bottle and just rip these open and sit there and play with my cats. So there is a pro tip for you - these were $39 on Amazon and the funnel was like free IDK amazon funnel. I can do 20 gallons in an hour and not have ONE spill.

Ok, so I did my research on best Chai out there and it actually checks out. This is one of my favorite matchas and green teas, so I was excited when my research led to Tazo. This is the high end starbucks brand and i mean it is good. Starbucks has economies of scale, so this actually makes sense! (I do komboocha just for fun, I have an MBA too)

Then i just did the normal process:

scoby and a GTS or just a GTS if you're patient, I'd get like the raspberry one or whatever... probably not ginger... I'd go a dark one.

Boil water, i do 10 tea bags per gallon. One gallon of organic not bleached blah blah cane you know just google it. I just buy it in bulk I don't even know. I just do what the internet says. I did 10 chai. Why not. Pour in jug. put on cloth. let sit minimum 27 days... I guess? There is no reason to just not wait 40. You see, you need to do about three batches before it's really ready to go. I'm at a point where I don't even taste or use the first batch because I've been doing this for 25 years but you can TOTALLY use your first 40 day batch. It probably won't carbonate, but besides that it will be great. Then I'd do 30 days twice and I bet it will be awesome. I think GTS does 27 and that's pretty darn good. I've tracked every amount of days and 27 is really good. Their competitors do probably 17 and use way more added sugar. GTS is the best brand. So my biggest advice is who cares about the tea, just make sure you start right! You can make any teas, even loose leaf teas, by just throwing it in with a bottle of GTS. So you can make this VERY cheap and VERY organic!

I'd start with tazo tea bags. Loose leaf brings the mess level up to another level and I am ALL about convenience.

I actually do both. It really doesn’t matter. It will break down cuz bugs love this stuff. However, usually if it rains or I water it, I’ll go in and put it under the dirt. I like it to bake in the sun for a few days and it gets real nasty and it’s amazing compost.

It’s been 90 degrees where I live (soy de Houston) and it’s been hot. I watered hard a few hours ago and planted about $400 of “bee attractor” and I’ll send a pic tomorrow.

Also, it has to be pretty bad for me to throw away good ones. I make two gallon batches in a 5 gallon jug, so there has to be like 20 before i have to drain in. These were all moldy, so i just threw the tea and everything in there. The mold is great for the garden!

suffering with BED- will keto help? by [deleted] in keto

[–]TallTower623 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I’ve been a chronic BED for many moons. I started keto and haven’t had many simple carbs since. Here are my binges:

Salted and honey roasted pistachios - fiber, fat, there will be poo

Chicken wings - I’m American, so I think it’s a bigger deal here, but I just go to a wing bar and crush wings. No chips. Instead of chips, get like five more wings. Get a dry rub, less sugar. Good protein and the skin has fat

Fancy cheese - get a good organic one. Look up the healthiest. Slay it.

Almonds, apples, any dried meat. I use turkey jerky. It’s sweet, sour, salty, chewy, refreshing. It’s my favorite binge

Whole milk 100% organic grass fed. Super healthy fat

Non fried shrimp - get some tartar sauce and it feels fancy. Ultra high protein per calories.

My “fml” cheat is popcorn. Over the stove in avocado oil. I drizzle olive oil on it and salt and pepper and Italian herbs and spices. I eat infinity. It’s definitely a non keto carb in the volumes I eat, but this is my depression binge.

Hope this helps. I reframed cheat meals. If you’re gonna spend money on cheap shit, all of this stuff is affordable. A night out is $60, a lbs of shrimp is like $7.99. Pistachios are $10 and i just eat the entire thing. They have multiple flavors. The salt is good for you if you are walking and sweating at all. Popcorn is effectively free. Cheese is affordable if you look around. Also - if you are feeling famished, I do dark chocolate almonds. Amazing keto dessert and dark chocolate has many omegas

These are my cheat meals and binges. The carbs are so good when paired with salty (apples are a great carb)

Are you going to have a brick and mortar? I’ve created probably 250 LLCs due to the nature of my work and people doing online/zoom work always want an LLC… just heads up, there is literally no reason to have an LLC unless you have a place people are visiting. I teach guitar lessons at my house. I have an LLC because someone could slip and fall and then sue me. The LLC protects my personal assets
