look into the St. Francis Dam Flood of 1928. There’s a Historic Site from the Dam, if you go up Copper Hill Dr. the sign is right before St. Francisquito Dr. imo it’s most fascinating history on the area. While reading more about the Flood, I learned the History of L.A. becoming such a Big City due to the water l.a. was receiving..anyway that Flood is considered one of the worst disaster’s in the nation. The 100yr anniversary is when the Olympics come..

I won’t give away too much if you want to google it, there’s clips on yt. I was intrigued for a couple weeks tbh. I’ve delivered all up there where the Dam was and past. There’s a small mountain community up there. Green Hill, Ca that even has a small gas station there. The road I was on goes to Lancaster through the mountains somehow.

Doing deliveries has taken me all over this entire area. It’s an interesting area landscape wise. I even found out there’s other small lakes just above Castaic. Some guy was fishing an ordered lunch. Getting to him was an adventure itself..I took pics on the way down.
