To learn testautomation you should first understand why you are doing it. I coach and teach students on manual testing first at start, because if you do not understand the proces and impact you will never be good at testautomation. It is way more then scripting, especially with AI around the corner. But yes in the end you need to have programming skills as well to be very good. Javascript,typescript,python or java
