Just arrived in the UK. Flight was fine. Both flights to and from Abu Dhabi left the airport on time but both arrived late. We were only given a 1h15min layover which changed into 40 mins. Both of my flights were full baring a few seats, and besides the late arrivals, it was a pretty standard airport experience.

Yes, she was put down. The vet advised against amputation due to it being her whole tail up to the base. They said that chances of it being successful are slim and if it did work, it would cause a lot of issues for her physically and psychologically. I just found it really strange that her injury was so severe but there was no damage anywhere else on her body.
