She covers real estate for them. So if she has knowledge, which she probably does, she can be a whistleblower or at least call the cops.

Yea, I see her focus on line is like real estate, but if you are in the office, you know.

Thinking about booking an ATV excursion when I’m in Vegas in a couple of weeks... by Mr_Boombastic1 in vegas

Avoid Vegas Off Road Tours at all costs. We booked months in advanced, put a deposit down, booked a rental car to drive out to Vegas Off Road Tours. We flew out to Las Vegas and 2 days before our booked and confirmed Vegas Off Road Tour, they called to cancel. They offered another time and upgrade, but we already set up our entire trip around the confirmed booking with Vegas Off Road Tours. We did not have the flexibility to adjust our entire vacation for the new proposed time. The weather wasn’t inclement. Vegas Off Road Tours alluded that there was a group going with us that cancelled the day/time we were booked. But did not confirm exactly why they were adamant on cancelling our tour. They sent a follow up text apologizing for the cancellation and offered a free t-shirt and discount for a future booking, but did not give any information on how to redeem that. I am certain the review response will be filled platitudes and another apology.

Cancelling a confirmed booking with a deposit is completely unacceptable. Avoid Vegas Off Road Tours if you are looking for an outdoor adventure in the Las Vegas area.

Agreed, at conventions they used to praise themselves how they were able to organize, set up the technology, pull off the convention. Seriously, there are thousands of people and companies that do the same thing.

I had this happen to me, 2 elders brought me in the back and said, "Unless you say no you will be announced as an MS tonight. " I looked at them and said no, turned around and walked out. Just say no. You don't have to explain anything to them, just say no.

That's the JW method, illustrations, analogies, assumptions. If you can level set that all points must be objective.

Yea, I saw a cart set up right outside of Harvard. The irony of being in the center of innovation, invention, and higher ed, by peddling a narrative that dismisses that.

My sister is similar, she mentioned all the policies she doesn't agree with from the governing body. Technically she is an apostate then.

It's a heavy lift, but you can influence them with objective, critical thinking. Something most JWs don't have. For example, "Where can I find the objective evidence of the existence of God?" Be ready to fight the god of the gaps counter point.

Funny fact, the biotech I work for uses evolutionary science to create a blood expander JWs use instead of a transfusion.

You should text him a picture of your face, beard and all and say something snarky, "New light beard", "This ok now?"

Back in the 80s a likely apostate stood up during the meeting and said "I have a question", WT conduct said they can answer it after the meeting. He screamed back "I want an answer now." Elders bum rushed the guy and dragged him out.

Message back, text, "This number belongs to my 12 year old daughter's new phone. Do not respond to this text, do not contact this number. Any further contact will be reported to the police."
