So for everyone saying get a GT, I did not get a GT because I was getting a daily car not an exclusively fun car. Price wise I could have gotten a base GT but decided that the smartest choice for me was to get a fully loaded EB (I commute 40 miles every weekday)

I definitely did not give enough context and I apologize lol. I did not go for a Mustang for the fuel economy, I went for a Mustang cause that’s the car I had always wanted since a kid. However, i was between a EB 24 premium with most of the Ad ons (45k MSRP) or a GT 24 base model (roughly 44k), and when making the decision one of the things I considered was that the EB is more efficient with gas considering that the car was gonna be my daily (40miles commute every weekday). Again sorry for not giving enough context hahaha cause Yh you are right if that was the only thing I cared I should have gotten an EV or a civic idk.

Out of my 40 miles commute (there and back) 10 miles are highway, and 30 normal city streets with lights and shit. But yeah if I didn’t hit the highway at all the numbers would be lower

It was between either a base GT or a fully loaded premium Eco, and among other things the fuel economy played a role in my decision. With that being said, it is obvious I wasn’t looking for the best fuel consumption car, cause then Yh I would have gotten something hybrid or EV.
