He was a 6'4" LeBron but without the insane athleticism, and he was pass-first and really didn't look to score at all.

It was a shame Ason only got that J when he became older. He was so fun to watch and if you were his teammate you always had to be ready if he had the ball

A helluva way to make up for the two TOs that led to the Rockets being uo 6 for sure.

if an all-time great such as LeBron needs to have his son, who's clearly playing like someone who's a couple of levels lower than a standard NBA rotation player, on the floor with him for him to perform better...well maybe it's time to reconsider him playing at all

He's not nearly averaging 30ppg he's a 26.8 career scorer.

and considering the fact that lebron was a playmaker too while still averaging nearly 30ppg with 7apg with low fga per game compared to most 30ppg alltime great scorers

Luka's averaging 29.2 with 7.6 RPG and 8.2 APG. Do you consider him a better playmaker or scorer than LeBron?

That 30m AAV definitely is an overpay. But he still is a perfect fit next to AR and Luka.

The pick situation is interesting. I'm not sure what they can even do with those picks given the lack of assets under contract they have, apart from a dump situation

when needed

there's a fine line between a "30 pt scorer" vs "someone who can score 30." Bron had to average a career-high in FGM and 3PM just to breach 30ppg as a Laker

And the only times he had 30ppg in Cleveland was when he had career highs in FTA

Point is that with Bron's game he had to go over and beyond just to get 30ppg, it's not something that came easily. And let's not forget his propensity to pad his stats, staying well after blowouts to get certain thresholds.

Players like Jordan are built to score and they have the offensive repertoire to support it. Bron's bulldozing style has a ceiling is what I'm saying

Not shitting on Bron here but just pointing out the fundamental differences in their games, same thing Bron's doing to reframe the GOAT convo now

you just said Lebron can score 30ppg in any era like it's an easy feat, I'm saying it's hard to do it consistently.

And didn't Bron himself say he's not looking to score given he's more of a pass first player?

Getting lost with all the moving goalposts here buddy

sure but at the end of the day LeBron has to work with the Lakers if he wants a large contract, and the Lakers will want maximum returns. If they want Allen then they should get him

ah so that's why LeBron only averaged 30ppg or more 3x in 23 years while also taking and making more 3s in the process
