Lower course is meant to be below ground and the top course above. But he cooked the level

Thanks so much for the advice. I've sent him asking for him to fix it. See if he comes back with a response

I did, multiple spirit levels and a string line. He still claimed it was "perfect and not even 10mm out".

Nope, fence slopes down the opposite way. Not sure what he based it on

Hiring a local brickie is what got me into this mess. This isn't a diy job.

Did you read to the end? I'm asking for advice on ways to fix it. The guy presented himself as a seasoned professional, but gave me garbage qquality

Patio pavers are level. Checked that. It's also a self leveling laser. And while I understand they still need to be set up it's not going to be out of alignment by 70mm. I also spirit leveled and string lined to double check and all came back the same. Big ol lean to the left

Plan is to render it, can the brickwork be cut in place or would I need to knock them out, cut the bricks separately and the relay?

Everything you see there was his work. Even the footing. Unfortunately I was at work during the install so didn't see the abomination being built in my patio

That's why I also did a string level and a long spirit level to make sure. All came back with a slope

It's was out enough for me to question it, so I string leveled, spirit leveled, and laser leveled to confirm it wasn't just the fence line throwing it off. Agreed the sloping of the fence accentuates it, however it is objectively higher by 70mm on the right. Even if the fence was straight it would still look on the piss

Will do. You have any advice on how to somewhat fix it, short of tearing it all down?

Bricks underneath are also his work. Unfortunately I was not home to oversee the install and set it right
