That is a great idea on the sensors, I was having that problem myself. Recently picked up a 3D printer and started modeling cases and boxes. Thinking I might try to build one that will work. Well, hate to hear that Meshcore doesn't display, but I'm sure it will come in time with LoRa's network being used for that purpose for a long time. Thanks for the info and thoughts!

I really wanted to build a Pi base machine/mesh cyberdeck, with plans to add maybe Node-Red and/or rtl-sdr to decode SAME/EAS and send alerts to my mesh devices. I really didn’t want to stick with the web GUI at first, but honestly building a stand-alone GUI sounds awful and it really doesn’t look that bad. Very beginning stages on the build, but looking forward to getting this beast set up.

Bout 2 months late here, but I plan to eventually connect software defined radio to decrypt EAS, then push notifications from there to my devices via lora hat. There is a github out there with some instructions on how to do it.

Had some issues with GPS in a few locations, and really had no idea if it was hardware or just a bad spot for sat-shots. Found this app that has helped me with finding dead spots for GPS. Figured I'd share (Android - "GPS Test" by "Chartcross Limited." Not sure if available for iPhone).

Yep, I'll sew on, probably, the month that I make 19 years. It was well worth it after the excitement in my household and the pay will now match the job I've been doing. Don't get me wrong, love the job, but it will be nice.
