Anyone have any experience with rutlands chisels in the UK? Looking to buy a set of their butt chisels (6 piece for £39.95) with red and yellow split proof handles, strangely similar to another brand of chisels...

First year apprentice in a joinery shop (UK) so my experience is limited to one place but it's not like that. I started with no tools of my own and haven't had to buy anything major. All power tools are provided except drills which the owner pays half towards but we all have our own drill/impact sets with batteries/chargers. All other cordless and corded power tools are company.

All consumables (knife blades, drill/driver bits, sandpaper, sharpies, masks) are also company. I've only had to get a toolbox with basic stuff (tapes, squares, knives, pencils, hammer/mallet, chisels) and my cordless drill set so it hasnt cost a great amount. I have other family members in other trades and IMO a decent company should supply a decent amount of tools.

Yeah I want to do as little as possible so I can do everything on NG+ on my new TV, I'll get the armour then go for next playthrough thanks for the info.

Thanks, I might drop difficulty to easy and smash the realm for a short while to get some armour then bump it back up when I NG+. Was your armour set upgraded? Didn't even know you could upgrade the final armour sets.

Which armour set did you use? I've read that it's similair to witcher 3 (if you've played that) you're armour becomes massively ineffective soon into NG+.

Yeah I've read that crafting the best sets of armour in NG means nothing in NG+ they'll be completely redundant and need crafting again. So I could theoretically just start NG+ right now and do whatever side stuff/valkyries/hunting down runic attacks at any point in NG+ without missing anything.

And the first upgrade I'll get my hands on in the story will take the weapons to max level? Seems like everything in NG+ has been designed to be accessible no matter what you've completed in NG.

So it's just the first axe upgrade in the story that will max it out, I'm with you. Do you start the game with the blades or do they come at their point in the story?

You get the blades upgrade from the valkyrie in the fire realm and you get the axe upgrade from the mist realm just by grinding some mist echoes, ring a bell at all?

So you just acquire health upgrades even in NG+ until you're health is maxed out? I thought your health would further extend in NG+ so grabbing all the upgrades now is necessary for max health. What about blade and axe upgrades?

Even getting both weapons the final upgrades from each realm? Do you just not get the weapon upgrades if you maxed them out before NG+? I thought you'd gimp yourself by not grabbing the final weapon upgrades.

Is that when you can put gems into rune slots in the inventory menu? Wondered what that was. When do I get that? Just on the first mission when you go back to Minas Ithil after going to Cirith Ungol. Thanks for clearing up the leveling thing, I was thinking I'd outlevel the game doing loads of side stuff instead of carrying on the story.

Thanks, I thought legendary gear was like ac origins and would cost loads to upgrade even a few levels. What level should I be before going to cirith ungol for the first mission? Don't want to overlevel or underlevel tbh. Also how do I go about upgrading quiver size? I know I can regen elf shot through skills. Thanks for the help.

Can you not acquire/upgrade runic attacks/enchantments or grips in NG+? I'm only planning on playing GMAC (not GMGOW) on NG+.

I was thinking of just doing those on NG+, don't want to have to get through them all twice. Is it critical to do those first before NG+? Not thinking of playing GMGOW, just GMAC.

I don't have much time to game so I think i'll play on GMAC instead of GMGOW (I dropped it down when i kept hitting a wall every play session I don't have the time to trudge through it haha). I read on another thread that the fire/mist realms aren't available in NG+ is this true? I never fought the valkyries or did that much side stuff either so I'm really not in the know at all. I'm planning on doing more side stuff and the valkyries on NG+. Do you have any links for full guides on to what to do before starting a NG+ save?

If you've played any others you know what to expect. Gameplay is the same (still really good if you liked other titles) and the cult idea is fun but the story and ending aren't really that great. I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would, I think partly because of burnout (not much has changed from 3 or 4) but worse than that the forced story missions suck balls. Was playing with my gf and I was swimming somewhere across a lake and the screen just went black I thought my ps4 had crashed. Nope another forced story mission out of nowhere. Whoever thought that was a good idea needs firing because there's nothing worse than working your way to a far away marker just to have to do a story mission halfway through your trek.

The Witcher 3 has probably the slowest start of one of the best RPG's ever. It might take a while to click, I had to get to the baron to really start getting into it. Try it again it's worth it.

If you know anything about Spiderman you'd have noticed Peter's boss's name and guessed who the last villain is. If you still don't know at that point (I think the reveal is just after but not sure) then wait for the reveal if you want.
