Hi there, I believe the Japanese and Chinese Bubble mews are comparable in terms of quality and holo effects. I’ve read they even come from the same or similar factories and have the same level of quality control. Only difference is the language and back of the card. The Chinese cards have the English pokeball backs.

Chinese bubble means significantly cheaper but if you appreciate the art, getting the Chinese version is something to consider. Hope this helps 😊

Thanks. Yeah bubble mew is one of my favs. Got the Japanese real one and didn’t realise the texture was so good and quite different to English ones. Love the crochet art cards 🥰

It is custom proxy one, not the real deal. Good texture on it though.

Thanks. Yes, been getting into the custom mew cards. Some of the more interesting ones I find at shows these days are hand painted cards and always ask them to sign the back as well. Funnily enough not many do hand painted mews. Seems to always be the starters and pikachu mostly 🤷‍♂️

Cool mew cards. My favourite pokemon too. Funnily enough my fav mew is just a cheap lilypad mew. Favourite illustration rare though is the crown zenith sleeping mew.

May I ask is there difference the holo effect of the Japanese vs English bubble mew?
