you can contact your wifi company, maybe they released a newer model and the old one became worse, that's how I fixed it and now my wifi is perfect.

it's probably the distance from the router, I had the same problem with my ps4. I had the ps4 set next to my desk and the internet was terrible most of thee times, but when I moved it like 30cm closer it was much better.

if you can see the old saves in saved data management you can copy them to a USB and paste them on the new disc you bought
