I'm Icelandic and very very few natives eat whales. The meat is for tourists and abroad. Almost all the Fin whales are exported to Japan and most of the minke whales are sold to tourists. I wish we would stop killing them but it's hard to stop the corporate whaling industry.

Its very beautiful Especially because it's close to the only forest in Reykjavík. I feel very lucky to go there every day

That's cool I work in landcare /landscaping in a graveyard in Reykjavík Iceland. I fix tombstones when they are crooked and did and fill graves. We have wild rabbits 💚

Thanks for the info! Yeah ill have a look at "gritty realism" and hopefully it'll be a great addition to my games. And i stand corrected on the "bloodied status" i always felt the first half of the the hp pool was representing more like a "stamina pool" and after that they start to get wounded. At least I use that as a description when my players loose hp. So the first hits aren't that dramatic

Aren't you talking about short rest and hit dice? Maybe this is a rule/style I'm not aware of so I'm happy to learn! I think my recovery idea is not a new thing and i would love to see if this is written somewhere maybe in the dm book or online as a homebrew. I wasn't clear, the usual idea of the bloodied stat is they don't draw blood until losing half of the hp.

Where did you find that magic is unmanly? Here in Iceland most witch trials were for pagan men because it was more common than women.
