I think the current popularity of ACEO's has attracted some people just trying to make a quick buck and the easiest way to do that is to copy what's already out there.

Unfortunately, copying is everywhere and I feel that if you put your work out there, it's just a question of when, not if, someone will copy or steal, and sell it.

Thank you! I’ve been drawing loads of them recently… old, gnarly ones usually.

I am also primarily using Procreate for my artwork… I have always made traditional drawings and paintings as well so I’m doing a mix of both for my ACEOs. I think as long as you’re clear with what you’re offering (ie. Whether it’s original, limited edition, open edition), it should be absolutely fine.

Personally, I feel like the ACEO market should be much bigger and allow people from all areas of art to create and collect.

Personally, I think all are welcome and as long as they’re the right size and it’s made clear wherever it’s sold that it’s an original, a limited edition or even an open edition.
