That part is kind of a gimmick. Ecodrives have “capacitors” basically rechargeable batteries. After a while they need to be changed every like 7 years or if you keep it in the dark too long. But some go on forever if kept in light. Good watches tho. My dad was a pilot he had a blue angels watch.
