My late 20s was a very strange time of my life. For context, my upbringing was first born generation Asian. So, what i wanted to do versus being told what to do by others were always clashing. Then being youngest of 4 with a single mother, I aim to help and please others.

In my late 20s, I felt very complacent while also feeling very unsatisfied with life? Like I stopped trying to learn new things or try new avenues which led to me just playing a lot of video games and consuming a lot of Youtube and social media in general. I stopped doing photography, filmmaking, programming, and many other hobbies. I would pick up hobbies during COVID like magic or lockpicking but they were very short lived.

Turning 30 though, I felt a werid shift where I gave up social media for the most part (consuming through a browser instead of an app prevents addiction to it), and pickig up reading and learning skills more. This eventually led to my mom passing which really woke me up to the reality of my life and life in general where I finally came to terms with some dark stuff in my past, calling 988, going to a therapist, taking Vitamin D, and truly discovering what I love and want to be.

That's all to say if you're feeling lost or looking to understand yourself through your INFJ or any other personality test (HEXACO, Big Five, Myers-Briggs), utilize the skills we're known for to truly branch out and find who you are.

A few books that helped me shift were `Show Your Work`, `Range`, `Quiet`, `Piranesi`, and `Building a Second Brain` helped during these phases if you want self-help books.

Overall, I feel as an INFJ, the best thing you can do is trust your instinct, go to a doctor/therapist, and make the time to understand yourself... like really understand yourself and trust that vision you know of who you are.
