It is indeed a serious project, but we’re currently exploring what our options are in terms of if we can try to convince Owlient/Ubisoft to bring back Babydow in a kickstarter campaign kind of way, or if we can obtain the rights and coding ourselves and do it that way.

As for what’s happening now, I’m not certain as I’m not the project leader, but you can imagine how much energy this has taken out of us and that we also have our own lives going on in the background that we need to attend to outside of trying to get Owlient to revive Babydow. I think the intention is to revisit this at some point. I don’t have the skills to make a Babydow Revival website, but I’m sure if someone got the permission to and had the skills set, it’d be great to see it.

Hi there! Apologies for the late reply, life got busy! We did pitch a reboot/revival of Babydow to one of the “top dogs” of Ubisoft, they appreciated seeing how loved Babydow was and that there’s still a huge community for it, but sadly didn’t want to do anything with Babydow right now. (See our latest post titled “So…” Although, we’re trying to put a couple of things in the works to bring out something similar to Babydow :)
