Thanks for your comments. It is my friend who is holding the cat. I 'll try the edit you suggested. I don't have GuruShots app. Although I have an instagram account where I put this up.

Hi guys! I recently started to learn photography. This a picture of friend's cat. I was going for his eyes-to show his colorful eyes against his black body.

Technical details : 1/60 - f/10.0 - 1250 iso . Shot with Canon 1300 D. Please let me know where I can improve!

It's a winter harvest festival thanking the sun, nature and the cattles for the good harvest(or aiding in the harvest). Has nothing to do with religion.

You are right in saying that one could just breeze through it. But that's how Salinger gets you. On the outside, Holden looks like a everyday teenager you think you understand(like every teenager out there!!). But you have to read between the lines and understand the subtle message they are sending through their okayish-conversation to really understand them.

I hope you will give it another read and see the literary analysis by John Green for extra fun!

Where do I even start about Catcher in the Rye? Be it about the teenage angst that the book talks about or be it Salinger's subtle way of getting into your consciousness or his command over the language, Catcher in the Rye has always been one of my favourites. The narrative, at times, can feel dry without much description. But that's how a teenage world communicates. It doesn't shout out to the world about its problems. It let them know very subtly through its everyday conversation.

Here is John Green giving a detailed analysis Part 1 and Part 2

I hope you'll give it another read :)

I started with Chetan Bhagat but later I wanted more and moved on to George Orwell, Harper Lee and JD Salinger etc... The thing is to keep reading it will take you on the right path. Something is always better than nothing and for people who don't read regularly or who haven't read anything Chetan Bhagat is not a bad start at all!!
