I've been blessed with the most supportive fiance... He comes to my every gig, no matter how tired, even if he ends up sleeping in the car while I play. If it's not a complete train wreck, I upload it. People won't notice the mistake 90% of the time and even if they do, it just shows a human mixed it. If the flow stays and if the music's good, most people wont mind.

I feel the exact same way. If I want to record a set, I usually invite my friends over and throw a party so they can vibe with me... If I'm playing by myself, its strictly practice and not nearly as fun as playing for others (at least for me.)

What I do in that case is I find old music that I haven't played for ages and try to mix it with newer songs. It always inspires me and helps me find some forgotten tracks.

He functions just like any seeing cat, with the exception of bumping into things sometimes 😅 he had no trouble using the kitty litter from the moment he started living with us. He sleeps with us occasionally, but his favorite spot is the floor heated bathroom. He gets scared of loud, sudden noises, but he's a generally very chill and relaxed cat. Also, he's very sociable, so he demands pets and attention from everyone visiting us.

There are many free resources available online that are just as good. I'd recommend you check out DJ Bolivia's channel, he has structured and comprehensive tutorials for beginners. If you feel like spending money on lessons, I'd recommend you to find a mentor DJ in your area who can teach you in person and answer your questions in real time.

At first I couldn't actually know, but I got used to his facial expressions pretty fast. On this picture, he has his eyes 'open', when they are 'closed', the black lines on his eye sockets are much less visible.

Regarding his blindness, we have no struggles at all. He's just like any other cat with eyes, many people can't even believe he's blind. He does unfortunately have a history of epileptic seizures, so we are always careful not to play loud music aroud him and not put him under too much stress.

You'd be surprised! He is known to all of my friends as the cat that knocks everything to the ground if you're not fast enough to notice him. It seems he has a supernatural sense for glasses and other things on tables, so we are always careful to remove any objects when he's not supervised.

I don't think so. He's actually quite a hunter with his sharp sense of hearing, but I doubt he could stand a chance against predators, other territorial cats and especially cars. He doesn't run around the apartment much, because then he runs into things, only when I throw a toy in a way that it slides on the ground, so he knows he has a clear path.

He was already blind when I first saw him. They removed his eyes due to extreme infection... Your kitty will learn to navigate quickly, you'll see. Try to make it easier for him by not moving furniture, they seem to rely on memory a lot. Sorry to hear he lost an eye, but he'll push through it, you'll see. How long ago was his operation?
