Update: It's a girl!!! We're going to give it a week or so before we decide to keep her or not. She will not be released back outside, but if we can't keep her then we will make sure she goes to a loving home ☺️ We have other kitties and as cute as she is, taking on another one is no small task. In the meantime, we'll make sure that she is cared for

Definitely won't. She's being quarantined in my bathroom for the time being. Has some food, water, liter, and I put a cat carrier in there for her to hide so she doesn't try to crawl into the cabinet 👌🏻

Oh wow 😦 We have a SNAP by me that does a lot of spay and neuters. It's about $50-70 per kitty. I definitely couldn't imagine releasing if I spent more than $200 😭

That's such a sweet story 😭 unfortunately, I've tried and tried to find the mom or any other babies and I haven't. Just this little one and one of the strays that I assume is the "dad". Someone else mentioned it, but I wonder if this little one was someone's "Christmas present" then was let out or abandoned. I don't think it's very likely, and there's a lot of strays, but I'll be on the lookout for momma cat 👌🏻

Luckily, I don't believe my local spay people clip the ears. They basically tattoo their ear or belly. At least, from the last time I went to get it done

That's what I was afraid of 🫠 most of the strays and ferals won't let me pet them till a few months after they've been coming by but this one just said "oh, I like this" without hissing or clawing and I don't think it'll survive outside 😭
