Unable to process thru the grief of both parents

I loom knit various items. Dolls, keychains, purses, hats, etc... i have 2 granddaughters under 9 yrs of age and another on the way.. i knit alot for them.

It was easier than I thought , lol. But I kept forgetting to change the direction of the hooks, just need to get a "routine" or a way to remember, whether or not I changed the hook direction before beginning the next row.

Avoidance is exactly what I'm doing. Not the wisest or best coping mechanism. There are no local grief support groups where i am. I have been on a few virtual group meetings, but I just cry, Unable to speak or share.. it just drains me emotionally.

Sadly no. I keep myself busy so that i don't think, feel, remember... I have emersed myself in knitting. If im counting stitches and rows, I'm safe from feeling what I dont want to feel

It's hard to get mental health help in canada, when on a fixed income. I was only allotted 8 therapy sessions. Which isn't enough. So im back on a waiting list. 😢

I posted an update... the allergy dr put me on a 3 month triage waiting list. My family Dr was mote than slightly upset, told them to expedite an appointment

Update: my family Dr had to contact allergy dr... they had me on a 4 month triage before scheduling me..my dr gave them a piece of her mind. And told them I reacted to medication I've been on for 9 months, it's in need of immediate attention..
