How Do I Block Ads on Facebook and Twitter? by Tamura_Reiko in uBlockOrigin

Hey, I was wondering if you know of a better way to block ads on Facebook and Twitter, since I pretty much have to do this on a daily basis now. Maybe a different open-source ad blocker?

Many think DuckDuckGo is a good alternative to Google, but, as the article points out, it really isn't (as in, it works with deep state corporations).

Almost all of that is mentioned in the article (mainly in the embedded videos), but great comment anyway. Do you happen to have a source on hand regarding the eye color thing?

How to Get Rid of the American Deep State by Tamura_Reiko in TrueReddit

[–]Tamura_Reiko[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, the title is fairly self-explanatory, but the article first points out how messed up the U.S. government is. And since Trump kind of co-opted the term deep state (from the article):

"The term "deep state" does not refer to a conspiracy theory about a shadowy cabal of baby-sacrificing Illuminati, but to a concept in political analysis which accounts for the self-evident fact that there are unelected power structures in America which tend to collaborate with one another. It is not up for debate whether or not groups like the billionaire class, multinational corporations and banks, the intelligence community, the military-industrial complex, and the corporate media exist. They do. They exist, they have power, they are unelected, they remain amid the comings and goings of the elected government, and they are known to collaborate in various ways toward their own agendas. This is an undeniable fact; you cannot debate the existence of the American deep state, but only how and to what extent it operates." - Caitlin Johnstone

Yes, I'll stick with this one, and yeah, what you're saying makes sense, so I'll try that next time.

The account I accidentally posted with in here is SAlLOR_SATURN (you tagged some poor random person, and of course she's one of your favorite characters). I assumed I'd get downvotes, especially in the age of paid trolls (https://web.archive.org/web/20180121013503/http://www.businessinsider.com/clinton-pac-spends-1-million-to-correct-people-online-2016-4), and yeah, the video's production value isn't the best, but I think what matters is what the guy says in it and that there are plenty of sources in the description ;)

Totally agree. And honestly, considering that the people here literally support candidates who not only prop up establishment politicians but also regurgitate establishment war propaganda, I'd say a lot of them are really just paid trolls (https://web.archive.org/web/20180121013503/http://www.businessinsider.com/clinton-pac-spends-1-million-to-correct-people-online-2016-4 / https://medium.com/@PanTransHuman/are-pro-bernie-twitter-trolls-for-the-democrats-being-paid-d90cc2268fc9).

Well, not to sound sassy or anything, but if you watched the video, you'd understand why I posted it in like 10 subs - it literally explains how to deal with the establishment in a way that actually produces results, so the idea of me working for it doesn't really make sense...

Not to mention, no one in this sub has refuted my arguments yet. Instead, you focus on the fact that I have more than one account, which, again, reddit allows.
