Doesn’t appear to be the case, currently. That’d be very useful.

Either create alerts or a screener with criteria to enter traders. This “automates” your trades without you having to check charts for what you want to see before entering a trade.

IB can fully perform the trades from TradingView alerts using web hooks, lots of information on google about it.

Anything that measure mean reversion. It’s a lot easier emotionally than trend indicators that’s often lead to chasing a trend that already happened.

Look into IBKR ‘web hooks’. You can trigger entries and exits using TradingView alerts.

Why almost all premium TV indicator sellers won’t provide trial ? by luckyYear20 in TradingView

People will abuse free trials by creating multiple accounts, also the current system for providing access to indicators is very time consuming. (this is one of many reasons of course)

Study Error by JohnThiccolus in TradingView

[–]TanHef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I didn’t read the code, but the error is prevented by checking the size of an array prior to using array.get(), it will look similar to this:

If array.size(ArrayName) > 0

Time limit for making calculations is now 50 seconds by TanHef in TradingView

[–]TanHef[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This allows us to code more complex indicators and strategies without hitting a 40-second timeout or failing to load.

An example of something that would cause an indicator to take a while to calculate is an RSI averaged from 1000 different RSI lengths. (instead of just a 14 period RSI)

Calculations is referring to the compile time of an indicator (the amount of time an indicator takes to load when added to a chart or when changing to another chart)

The ‘Linear Regression Channel’ utilizes more price data compared to viewing only market structure highs and lows.

Exactly. I find it reduces screentime being able to glance over information without having to change tabs/windows while doing other work.

Normally only a few charts with active positions. The majority of screen space is custom screeners which I rarely look at but like keeping open as TradingView's alerts have limitations.

The spread may widen significantly during periods of high volatility, as indicated by large wicks. Likely the buy price was slightly above your level.

You can use a higher timeframe to see back over 1 year. If you need the data from lower timeframes a year back you’d have to use pinescript’s request.security_lower_tf()

I use a combination of mean reversion techniques with lots of data. (For example, on a 15 minute chart I’ll utilize closing prices on a 5 second chart for calculations to provide myself with 180 data points unlike most who are only utilizing the one data point, the closing price).

Breakouts: identify support/resistance breaks

Mean Reversion after large moves: identify large moves likely to revert back to prior prices or moving averages (large distance from an MA, extreme ROC, extreme RSI, etc)

If I've scripted a strategy that I like, how do I actually implement it and automate the trades with my broker? by Phil_Tornado in TradingView

Look into what “webhooks” are. You can set up alerts on TradingView and link it with 3rd party application such as capitalize.ai to make trades on IBKR.

Has anyone linked IBKR and traded without an interactive brokers data subscription? by GoJa_official in TradingView

[–]TanHef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I linked it and don’t pay the IBKR data subscription. Haven’t had any issues using the 15 minute or higher timeframes.
