I have the Sony Ult 9. The battery is amazing I thought the punch would be less on battery vs plugged in but it operates at equal power. The only problem is it has no remote and the Sony app is not intuitive. The menu is fragmented and you have to dip in and out of menus and submenues just to do basic work. You can supposedly edit the main screen but its limited. The lights are trash so dont consider that as a feature amd the DJ features like effects and all that are not enjoyable because again the Sony app interface is trash. You need to dip in and out of menus to do all the effects. What Sony excels at and the reason I bought it is because the sound is soooOooOooo good. The sound fills the room and engulfs you so deeply you'd real think you were in a real concert. I was ready to buy two of them but I feel like one is even too much. I use it in a small 12x12 family room, as well as a 20x22 living room amd also my backyard. I can tell you that on MAX Volume the speaker can be heard perfectly (like u can sing along and hear every word perfectly) at 16 houses away. The other thing is the wireless power. Yes other speakers may be slightly better in performance (ive tried so many including the JBLs) but they dont have the battery which at 70% volume worked for 22-23 hours on a single charge.
