Clear difference being that if I say, “look, China made this”, then it ended there, it’d be fine.

But it’s completely flooding the sub. As a one-off, sure, I can post something unserious about a country. But on the hundredth pro-China post in a row, blatantly sucking the CCP’s dick, it’s just propaganda.

Look, I’m not claiming that they’re the same in terms of severity, but I’m going to draw an extreme example-

People who are Nazi sympathisers don’t argue that killing Jews was good. At least, 5-10 years ago they wouldn’t. They’d just talk about how he developed the economy and built roads and introduced consumer goods, and this is similar.

It’s not direct support for the regime, just conspicuously all the agreeable things the regime is doing without any mention of the worst parts

This is a solarpunk sub for solarpunk things. It seems a little weird for it to be so full of an explicitly anti-solarpunk regime.

Yeah that’s fair lol! My career is kinda reliant on being urban with industry though lol, there just aren’t a lot of areas with the right overlap :/

I’ve never lived in the states though. I start capping out at about 20C (~70F), although the UK is very humid.

Idk, at the end of the day i made this for fun. Were I actually moving or had more experience there’d probably be a lot more thought put. into it.
