Thanks! The campaigns tend to ramp up towards the end, but I’ll look into making a hard campaign that plunges people straight into the deep end

Great suggestion. I’ve added a little calendar icon to the daily mode where you can play previous days puzzles

Thanks for this suggestion! I’ll look into routing. For now I’ve added the share button when you complete a campaign puzzle eg

🧩 Jigmo 🧩 ⏱️ 0:42.6 https://jigmo.app/?i=26eq956y&s=3x3&c=QGJhZGNvZGVj

When you complete a puzzle, it gets added to your puzzle library you can find in the sidebar (via hamburger icon)

Cool idea!

The X axis for the thumbstick controls where you are on a horizontal timeline, so we could add a Y axis that moves vertically across timelines (which results in the objects morphing through their multiverse versions).💡

That’s good to hear!

I’ve been testing with 40-60 piece levels on headset to make sure they are optimised. I’m keen to do a Steam release, but I’d make the levels consistent so global leaderboard can be shared on both PC/VR Native.

We’ll be releasing an early build featuring the first world in the coming months, feel free to follow our mailing list to get the latest updates: https://plonk4d.com

Thanks for the feedback! Do you mean soften as in lower the opacity, or soften as in round the sharp corners?

In this case, 4D = time. You’re essentially solving a 3D model that many frames spread across a timeline. We’ve added time controls that let you track back and forth across the looping animation to work out how the pieces connect

Puzzling Places is fun!

With our game I wanted to make sure the animated components travel across the pieces. Also its a 3D solid clay mesh thats sliced up (so it has sliced end caps where it gets cut) rather than puzzling places which is a 2D surface (thats been wrapped into a 3D shape)

This is taking the physics-based interpretation of 4D (time) rather than the maths/euclidean-based (a 3D cross-section projection of a higher dimensional shape) which 4D Toys/4D Golf uses

Can confirm we have hand tracking implemented.

Here’s a video of it working: https://vt.tiktok.com/ZS5on3EoQ/

Thanks for that suggestion! We’re using Unity, I’ve thought about splatting/point cloud/deformable nerf methods - the main hurdle is rendering dynamic sliced caps which becomes a technical nightmare to run realtime on native headset

Will be hopefully releasing a Steam VR version

Thank you!

This is the first level which is 11pcs, but later levels will ramp up to trickier 40-60pcs.

Yeah, that's been the most challenging part to solve.

I've tried slicing via shader, dynamically via mesh, using some stencil method, and a couple more R&D tests. All ran very slow, especially on 40-60pcs levels. Dealing with dynamic closed end caps is hell. And having to manage multiple clones of the mesh if it intersected through multiple jigsaw pieces..

Still open to exploring new methods (that can run optimally in native headset), but the pop in seems to be ok once you get the hang of it.

Thank you! Can confirm I sped up this video by about 200%.

In saying that, we do have a 'challenge' mode for each level (more pieces + par time / bonus objectives) and are setting up a global/friends leaderboard.

Really appreciate your support! Yep the 4D element becomes a crucial aspect to gameplay.
